World of stone are one of the oldest established stone masons in the south east of England specializing in luxury stone work surfaces. We are Open Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm. Quartz is a man made product that contains a resin compound mixed with the stone, this gives the stone a non porous quality and makes it more resilient against stains. This is a popular product in Kitchen counter tops and recommended in wet areas such as bathrooms. Quartz is unsuitable for fireplace hearths.
