Sylvarna Kitchen Design

As an estate agent of over 40 years, Ive seen a fair few kitchens in my time and I knew that finding a kitchen to fit both my desire and expectation was going to be a heck of a challenge - enter Gavin Kruse from SYLVARNA kitchens and their quite magnificent showroom.

Over several visits, Gavin was both knowledgeable and patient in advising me and my partner on what was going to work best in our new extended kitchen. His attention to detail was amazing as were the CGI images that were produced giving us a real insight as to how our kitchen would eventually look.

Having experienced a three month extension program to our property, the thought of more tradesmen coming in was daunting to say the least, but once again SYLVARNA came up trumps. From the moment they arrive the install team of Owen and Calvin reignited our excitement in having our dream kitchen installed. Not only were both fitters extremely skilled tradesmen they too were on hand to offer advice with regards to finishing touches.

Its now been about a month since our house was transformed and I have nothing but praise for the entire team and would have no hesitation in recommending both their kitchens, their workmanship and their after sales service. Thank you SYLVARNA - you really are simply the best.

We have been extremely impressed by the design and installation service provided by James Blann and the team at Sylvarna. As a garden designer I thoroughly enjoyed the design process. James is clearly at the top of his game. He doesn't just slot units into the available space using a computer programme, as many kitchen designers do, but took the time to listen to what we wanted and worked with us to produce a design that met our functional brief and was aesthetically spot on. His knowledge, experience and attention to the smallest detail was very impressive and he worked closely with us to help us choose the right kitchen units, appliances and complementary materials. He was with us throughout the design and installation process and was assiduous at replying to emails and calls throughout. We were always confident that we were in safe and competent hands and that if a problem arose a solution would be found and implemented rapidly.

Our kitchen fitters (we had two for a brief time) Frank and Steve were extremely professional (as were all sylvarna personnel we came into contact with) and like James paid attention to the smallest detail. They were both polite and personable, and fell over backwards to minimise the inevitable disruption that a kitchen installation causes...to the extent that we rather enjoyed the whole process! Steve, our main fitter was very easy to talk to and took a huge pride in doing a good job. His installation work was of the highest standard and we are very, very pleased with the finished kitchen.

I will have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sylvarna to anyone. We would not think twice about using them again.

Simply the best kitchens in the greater Sussex area. The patina finish they achieved on my salvaged copper splashback is utter perfection. Cannot recommend Nick and his team more highly.

We had our first kitchen designed and installed by Sylvarna in 1993 and it was still in good condition when we sold the house in 2012. We have just had our second. On both occasions we experienced attention to detail throughout and a willingness to work with builders onsite. Some minor issues with the Neff appliances have been handled well by Sylvarna. Thanks to Pete for the design and Frank for the installation.

We needed a new kitchen as part of a large remodelling and found the team (esp Gavin) very helpful in finding the best solution for our project. We managed to get everything including all appliances and handles at Sylvarna. The build quality is superb - a lot of solid wood with oak interiors. We had some quirky requirements which Gavin was able to find really good practical solutions for. Lead times were reasonable and reliable - we were even able to delay delivery a week to allow the floor to be laid and finish applied before the kitchen arrived to be built over it. We are extremely pleased with the end result.

After a very long and difficult building project my Sylvarna kitchen is finally installed and is beautiful. Sylvarna were endlessly patient with the delays and were helpful in ways that they just simply didn't need to be. I am extremely happy with the kitchen design and fitting. And the service I received was fantastic. James Blann was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sylvarna if you are thinking of a new kitchen.

We are totally thrilled with our new kitchen, its absolutely stunning and visitors go Wow when they see it. Not only that, it works really well for us. When we started looking for a new kitchen we had a good idea of what layout we wanted, and what units would work in our space, but no real idea on finishes, worktops, etc. We had trawled round a lot of suppliers, from DIY stores, Builders merchants, Wxxx and several bespoke kitchen companies. None of them inspired us with design and not one of them could give us exactly what we wanted. Driving past the showroom after another uninspiring trip elsewhere, I suggested we have a look, even if it was going to be out of our price range. What a revelation! Gavin, our designer at Sylvarna, was the only person who said Yes to all our requests and also provided proper design input, when all the other companies had only done layouts. The choice of finishes and attention to detail was unlike we had experienced elsewhere and the price was very competitive when comparing like with like. Luke the fitter, was also brilliant, punctual, clean, tidy and with superb attention to detail. All the other trades involved were of a very high standard too. We cannot recommend Sylvarna highly enough.

Excellent service and support from Pete and team at Sylvarna, throughout the lifecycle of our refurb. Right from early concepts, through to selection, pre installation planning, install, to post install support, they've always been highly approachable, responsive and thoughtful, not only to us but also our builders and contractors. Highly recommend.

I cant say how happy we are with the dream kitchen that Sylvarna created for us. With credit to them and their reputation we always assumed that this would be out of out price range but both Simon and James worked their very hardest to make it achievable and a reality for us. We were truly left feeling that they genuinely wanted us to have their product in our house and that showed with all their efforts from initial design to instillation and aftercare follow up.

There were obviously a number of alterations and questions along the way and whether that required a showroom visit or a site visit by Simon, nothing was ever too much trouble. Simon even popped in several times off spec just to check up on our contractors and make sure everything was running smoothly.

A few weeks prior to fitting there was a major supplier issue but Simon jump straight on the phone to me and made me aware of it and how this was to be remedied. Excellent Excellent customer service.

The fitting Team were second to none and so much so we then decided to have our boot room and utility room supplied and fitted by Sylvana's. Firstly due to the kitchen experience but after doing initial and secondary research, the quality alone of Sylvarna's products were just far superior to anything else.

My advice would be to go to the big kitchen warehouses and brand names and then go to Sylvarna. They will far exceed the competitors value for money and overall quality and customer service.

We had a problem with our hob ducting due to a builders fault at installation. Sylvarna had supplied the kitchen and came out immediately to fix the issue. A very professional company with prompt, polite service.
