A clean and properly prepared space is essential before fitting a new kitchen, which is why we manage the removal process from start to finish. We carefully dismantle the existing units and remove appliances, worktops and sinks. Reusable plumbing connections are treated with care. Afterward, we clear the site and arrange responsible disposal or recycling. 
Our plumbing and electrical preparation ensures that essential services are correctly positioned before kitchen installation begins. We manage sink and dishwasher water supplies, waste pipe connections, power points, socket relocation, extraction wiring and ducting routes. Where necessary, certified engineers also reposition gas connections, while marked-up site plans help the installation team work safely and accurately. 
We complete all plastering, rendering and wall preparation required for your kitchen installation. After removing the old units, we assess the walls and carry out any necessary remedial work, including patching, skimming, levelling and damp treatment. Surfaces are prepared to be level, dry and structurally sound before unit installation begins, helping achieve a professional finish.

When a kitchen worktop becomes stained, chipped, or outdated, we can replace it without requiring a complete kitchen installation. We supply and fit laminate, solid wood, quartz, granite, Corian, and compact laminate options. Accurate site templating allows us to produce clean cuts and precise apertures, with sealed joints and edges designed to protect against moisture ingress. 
We provide precise installation for both integrated and freestanding appliances, helping them fit cleanly within the kitchen. The service includes ovens, hobs, extractor hoods, dishwashers, washing machines, fridge-freezers, microwaves and other built-in appliances. We adhere to manufacturer instructions, check all relevant connections, test the completed installation and demonstrate the basic operation of each unit. 
We install sink and tap plumbing with attention to secure connections, effective sealing and thorough testing. Hot and cold water supplies, waste traps, drains, mixer taps, filter taps and boiling water taps can all be accommodated within the service. Where necessary, existing waste pipes can be rerouted to suit the position of the new sink. 
A kitchen can be updated through tiling or a new splashback without replacing the wider installation. We undertake this work independently, using ceramic, porcelain, metro and large-format tiles or glass and acrylic splashbacks. Our fitting process covers wall priming, considered layout planning, adhesive fixing, grouting, grout sealing and precise silicone application at junctions. 
Professional decoration is an important part of achieving a finished kitchen, which is why we prepare each surface thoroughly before painting. Cracks and holes are filled, surfaces are sanded, and suitable primer is applied before topcoats. We also repaint cabinet doors, walls, ceilings, woodwork, and skirting, including feature and two-tone finishes.

We were not able to find a company capable not only install our Wren kitchen, but do the rest as well - tiling, decorating, removing the old kitchen, appliance connections etc. We chose Urban Kitchens to manage the entire renovation of our kitchen space. They also repainte the walls and replaced the engineered flooring. Everything was organised, completed on schedule and finished to a very high standard.
