Well established in the UK market and works with housing associations, local councils, private developers and independent retailers. Trainee Installations Manager January 2011- Present Summary: I was approached by management to take on this role. The company wants to explore new ways of linking the installations managers and business account managers in order to make business in private development run smoother and in turn generate more return business. Achievements: I am already a valued member of the team and I have helped to build bridges of communication between the installations department and the business account managers. After my first review in February senior management are impressed with my development and would like me to take on more responsibility. Project Manager September 2007 – January 2011 Summary: Part of a team of surveyors working on refurbishment projects for councils and housing associations. I managed my own projects, time and workload. I surveyed and designed kitchens out on site, managed deliveries, dealt with customers, clients and contractors directly and managed any issues on site. Achievements: Solely managed a project worth ?200,000 for a housing association in Livingston. I worked on the project for 3years and impressed the association with my ‘professionalism and outstanding customer service’. I helped Symphony to secure the contract for another two years and the association requested that I carry on managing their projects. My work at Livingston impressed senior management and I was given the opportunity to join them in bids for new business in Edinburgh and Dundee. Managed the surveying team when the team leader was off or in meetings and helped train new starts. All my team members respected me and would call me for help and advise. Tradestyle Cabinets Ltd. February 2007 - September 2007 Tradestyle Cabinets Ltd. was a privately own company who manufactured kitchen, bathroom and bedroom furniture for retail and private developers. Designer Summary: Worked as part of a team of designers. Worked with house developers to: design kitchen layouts for new sites, arrange quotations which included calling for prices from appliance suppliers, manage the call off of plots. I also accompanied the sales director on sales calls and dealt with one off customers for the design and installation of their new kitchen. Achievements: Became a valued member of the design team and was trusted to manage my own sites and customers. Introduced changes to daily activities of design team – more site visits and customer interaction. |
