I have had trouble with my gas boiler for the last few weeks, I found York Plumbing & Heating (YPH) boiler company on the web and so glad I did, Chris from YPH came around and checked the boiler identifying the problem and got it all sorted out. He was a professional and kept me informed of the issues. I will be getting YPH to service my boiler and Gas fire in the future. YPH is a company I have no hesitation recommending.

Chris, Nick and the team team at York Plumbing & Heating are my go-to plumbers in York. I started using them a few years ago when my boiler broke down just before Christmas and I couldn't believe how speedily they got back to me and Chris essentially saved my Christmas. Since then I get my boiler serviced every year with them and if I ever have a little niggle, they are always quick to advise, or pop around and solve it. More recently Nick came and sorted out a leaking bath very efficiently. They are really lovely people as well, which is great. Highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend York Plumbing and Heating, due to a boiler fault we were left with no heating, on one of the coldest days this year, Chris the engineer came out the same day and fixed the fault and also fixed a fault on our toilet which we only mentioned in passing. We found him to be very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be using them again.

Boiler broke - Called in the morning spoke to a lovely lady who booked me in.
Engineer came back after 6:00 to fit the part and get us up and running again literally can not fault anything.
Chris then gave us advice on our underfloor heating and it now works perfectly.

Rather than just sell me a new boiler, YPH identified the underlying issue, and proposed a low-cost partial redesign of the system. End result is that the new boiler has dramatically higher efficiency, transforming the house. Good team, highly professional. Not 'cheap', but transparent costing, good value, delivered on budget.

When Chris arrived he was clearly professional and knowledgeable and was able to pick apart the mess that was left very quickly. He fitted my Nest Smart Thermostat and ensured it was connected to my WIFI and working smoothly before he left.

Having two small children it was crucial to have my heating and hot water back on ASAP and YPH pulled out all the stops to make sure it happened. A great service which I will be using now on for any heating requirement I have!!
